2013 St. John Ambulance Car Seat Safety Clinics

Written by

March 25, 2013 – With the proper installation and use of car seats over 75% of child deaths and injuries due to motor vehicle collisions could be prevented.

St. John Ambulance has a national Child Car Seat Safety Team comprised of trained and certified Car Seat Technician volunteers who guide parents through the child car seat installation process. They provide workshops and clinics in your community so that parents have their car seats inspected.

Please bring your vehicle manual, instruction booklet for your car seat and if possible your children, so the technicians can provide you with a proper fitting. They highly recommend that your child's car seat be installed in your car before you come to the clinic. If the child car seat is 'Forward Facing', please have your anchor bolt already installed because they do not install anchor bolts.

There are no fees for this service; however, donations are greatly appreciated. This will allow St. John Ambulance to purchase clinic supplies and training equipment so they can continue to provide Car Seat Safety Clinics.

Please click on Child Car Safety Clinics to locate the days and times of the Child Car Seat Safety Installation Clinic in your province. Once you have opened this website:

  1. Select a region
  2. At the top of the page find the heading 'Community Services'
  3. Select 'Community Service Programs'
  4. Scroll down to 'Car Seat Safety Teams' and click
  5. Read introduction and then click on the city nearest you
  6. Read days and times of clinics

The Toll Free Number for St. John Ambulance is 1-800-989-3787.

Be safe. Be wise.

                Protect your children.

                                 They're counting on you.

I tend not to comment, however after reading the 2013 'St. John Ambulance Car Seat Safety Clinics' article as well as other articles - I need to say something.
If you are writing on other social sites, I'd like to follow anything fresh you have to post. Would you post a list of every one of all your social community pages like your Facebook page,
    twitter feed, or linkedin profile?
