Covering
Since 1989, nineteen deaths and fourteen near-misses involving young children and blind or drapery cords have been reported to Health Canada. The Children's Safety Association of Canada distributes free window covering safety kits for both vertical and horizontal blinds. We sincerely hope that this endeavour will contribute to the reduction of accidents involving young children.
